Now I'm really into the idea of Audio Branding. The whole notion of restricting your brand to just visual cues seems to be a bit of a lost opportunity to me and one can that can easily be addressed on a website.
Let's consider some of the ways in which you could use audio:
To impart a more personal messageTo create a greater rapportAllow users to download files for use laterTrainingTo open up new marketsTo show a level of corporate social responsibilityTo provide greater choice in the way visitors use your website
Add a simple audio player to spice up your message
Video is BIG on the web. There are three core reasons for it's
monumental growth:
1. Broadband - 61.2% of UK internet users are on high speed
connections
2. YouTube - proving that the barrier to entry is negligible.
Uploading video from phones, webcams or your 'umble PC is
now commonplace.
3. Telly on your 'puter - all the major broadcasters have significant
offerings on the wibbly-wobbly-web (see BBC iPlayer, ITV, Channel 4)
and with natty little streaming devices you can download content to
your PC and watch it on your telly. Fab.
